Melty Claret Actress Again Current Lawmaking is a scrolling side view fighting game developed by Blazon-Moon, French-Bread, and Ecole Software, and published by Arc System Works. It is the sequel to Melty Claret Act Cadenza and the fourth installment in Melty Blood series, a spin-off of the developed visual novel Tsukihime.
The game was originally released in arcades on the Sega NAOMI system as Melty Claret Actress Again, which seen various updates and ports on arcades, PlayStation 2, and PC, with the PC version of Extra Again Current Code being based off the latest arcade revision (1.07). The PC version later received some patches to correct bugs in the game, however, it is missing some features from the PlayStation 2 game, such as the Dominate Rush and Survival Mode and leftover text files relating to the missing modes.[1] The game initially was not released through retailers like the previous Melty Blood games, instead it was arranged with the Express Edition Blu-ray release of Carnival Phantasm, Vol. iii.
There was efforts by the visual novel translation grouping mirror moon to fan translate Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code's PC version, merely the projection was scrapped when Arc System Works announced they were publishing the game's English release, which was released in April 19. 2022 through Steam.[ii]
